Bio
I have more than a decade of experience with academic research groups and technology development companies. Since the summer of 2000, I have worked closely with researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School, helping them craft academic papers, research grants and a variety of other correspondences. In addition, I serve as webmaster for a major research center based at MGH.
I have worked with an array of other research groups and companies during this time - the latter including medical device and technology development companies in the U.S. and Canada as well as in Europe - developing websites, marketing materials and contributed content for trade journals and magazines. And since 2005, I have assisted clinical researchers in Taiwan and mainland China, editing academic papers for them but also working with them to improve their writing.
Finally, since 2000, I have served as an editor with the trade journals BioPhotonics and Photonics Spectra, writing hundreds of in-depth articles about biomedical imaging technologies and neuroscience research and maintaining a blog exploring issues of interest to researchers (see the clips page for further information). |
